Design & Sourcing
Specialist Support
Specialist Support brings process design, equipment and supplier evaluation, system integration and delivery review into a defined technical assignment. It helps owners, operators and project teams develop the documents, decisions and checks needed to move a project through design, procurement and implementation.
The work may extend across the full Design & Sourcing process or strengthen a specific part of a project already underway. Scope, responsibilities and deliverables are agreed around the technical work required and the role of the appointed project team.
Where Specialist Support is applied
The work is organised around the technical requirements of the project rather than a fixed package. It may establish or strengthen the design basis, develop process and equipment requirements, prepare sourcing documents, review supplier proposals, or remain involved through delivery and commissioning.
Areas of support
Defined support packages
Vendor-ready ToR / Specification Pack
Translate the agreed process basis, operating ranges, equipment duties, integration requirements and verification criteria into a supplier-ready scope.
Typical deliverables: ToR or specification pack, performance schedules, equipment duties, responsibility schedule, comparison basis and commissioning requirements.
Process Design Pack
Develop the process and systems design information needed for detailed engineering, procurement and delivery coordination.
Typical deliverables: design basis and load cases, mass balance, process descriptions, PFDs, key sizing, equipment schedules, control intent, monitoring points and integration requirements.
Proposal Evaluation & Delivery Support
Review technical offers, clarifications and deviations against the agreed basis, then support submittals, commissioning and handover as required.
Typical deliverables: comparison matrix, clarification and deviation logs, submittal review notes, commissioning checks, handover review and early-operation observations.
Specialist Support
How the assignment is defined
The role is agreed around the technical work the project requires and the responsibilities already held by the owner, consultant, EPC, OEM, suppliers and contractors.
Defined technical scope
Support may extend across the full Design & Sourcing process or address a defined design, procurement or delivery requirement. The scope identifies the work, inputs, reviews and usable deliverables expected.
Coordinated project responsibilities
EnWater can undertake process and systems design, define equipment duties and supplier requirements, and provide technical review through implementation. The assignment is coordinated with the owner, consultant, EPC, OEM, suppliers and contractors so each party has the information and checks needed to complete its role.
Specification-led selection
Equipment and supplier options are assessed against clearly defined process duties, performance requirements, site conditions, integration needs and delivery obligations. Specifications, submissions, assumptions, exclusions and deviations are reviewed on a common basis, giving the client a stronger basis for selection and helping the appointed team deliver what the project requires.
